A headteacher has landed in trouble over a Facebook rant in which she threatened to sort out a pupil’s mother with ‘granny boxing’.
Ruth Swailes criticised Rachel Piper for bringing her partner’s mother along to a meeting regarding her son.
On the site, she wrote: ‘I’m gobsmacked that some of the parents come to have a go at me and bring their mums along – they’re people in their 30s and 40s and still bring their mums to sort me out.’
Some 39 comments were posted by her and two of her Facebook friends. At one point, Mrs Swailes suggested taking her own mother to work ‘to fix ’em’.
When a friend said he could sell tickets, she added: ‘Sounds good to me. Granny boxing!’
