Liam Payne thanks fans after One Direction’s Where We Are stadium tour sells out in minutes: ‘I’m never going to sleep again’


One Direction have thanked fans for their overwhelming support after tickets for their Where We Are 2014 stadium tour sold out in minutes.

The boys had initially agreed to perform five dates across the UK and Ireland, including London’s Wembley Stadium, but added a further three dates to the bill in response to the high demand this morning.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, both 19,  Zayn Malik, 20, and Louis Tomlinson, 21, each took to Twitter to share their delight but it was 19-year-old Liam Payne who was the most ecstatic of the bunch.

Struggling to contain his excitement, he tweeted this morning: ‘Just woke up… it’s a good job I had a good sleep because I’m never gunna sleep again with excitement… Can’t believe we sold out wembley.

‘Thank you so much everyone for making even our wildest dreams come true.

‘This is madnessssss.’

And Harry was of a similar mindset, tweeting: ‘Gaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh…
