Missouri Soldier Gets Big Welcome Home On Mother’s Day

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – It was the perfect Mother’s Day for the family of a local soldier.   Sergeant Kevin Bronaugh was among a group of Missouri National Guard soldiers arriving at Lambert from their tour of duty in Afghanistan; his wife, kids and other family members there to give him a big welcome home, after being away for 290 days.

Renee Bronaugh, Soldier’s Mother: “It’s very special it’s been very hard long months without him and we been waiting for this day for a long time. It’s the best Mother’s Day present I could ask for.”

Sgt. Kevin Bronaugh: “Well I didn’t expect so many. It was a surprise. It was a good surprise”

Bronaugh Is With The 1138th Engineering Company Based Out Of Farmington.
