The Voice UK battle pairings and songs revealed

Metro

The Voice hopefuls going through to this year’s Battle Rounds have been paired up and allocated songs by their coaches.

Saturday’s show will see six pairs of contestants go up against one another as they simultaneously try to wow  Jessie J, will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue with their vocals.

Will.i.am’s protégés Matt Henry and Jordan Lee Davies will go head-to head on Stevie Wonder’s Do I Do and Nu-Tarna will take on Cleopatra star Cleo Higgins as they belt out CeCe’s Peniston’s Finally.

Katie Benbow and Sarah Cassidy from Team Jessie will sing Katy Perry’s ET, and  Ash Morgan and Adam Barron have been given James Morrison’s I Won’t Let You Go.

Danny’s blind hopeful Andrea Begley will go up against  former Hollyoaks actress Alice Barlow on Birdy’s People Help The People, while Sir Tom Jones will be forced to decide between Jamie Bruce and LB Robinson after their rendition of U2 and BB King’s When Love Comes To Town.
