Kate Nash has gone grunge in her new song Under-Estimate The Girl, which has been branded a ‘joke’ by music fans on Twitter.

The quirky pop star, who shot to fame with Foundations, has returned with a radical new sound which harks back to the days of grunge acts like Courtney Love ‘s Hole.

But fans on Twitter didn’t seem too keen with her new musical direction with thomdenson saying: ‘The new Kate Nash song/video is a joke right?’

JordanJoice said: ‘Kate Nash’s new song might be the worst song I think I’ll hear this year and that isn’t even said with dramatic effect.’
