Google Glass’s camera quality has been shown off for the first time in a series of pictures posted by Google employees, though aiming the camera seems to have at times proven difficult.
The glasses have yet to be perfected, if staffer Sidney Chang’s wonky shot of the carpeted floor is anything to go by, but the pictures do look crisp, offering a view of the world that matches users’ vision.
A more successful snap came from Google X employee Steve Lee, who harnessed the hands-free nature of Glass to take a photo from behind the steering wheel of his car.
Sophie Yang meanwhile tweeted a photo of the office where the glasses are being developed.
Google Glass has now been sent out to thousands of testers for a trial run, with the device rumoured to be hitting the shelves next year provided they don’t attack someone’s face or wage war…
